Dredging Technologies, also known as “Dredgetek,” has been doing business for over 25 years.   The name Dredging Technologies was adopted in 2004, to market and build company growth and name recognition.  The existing company from which Dredgetek was formed is Condor Steel Inc.  The founder of Condor Steel has over 25+ years of hydraulic dredging and conventional dredging experience.   Within this quarter century, every scenario of dredging has been seen, tackled, and successfully accomplished.  Every project, whether small or large, difficult or typical was well planned, executed and completed in a timely manner to the customers’ satisfactions. Most of our projects are referral or repeat based. We have done work with individual lake owners, homeowner associations, commercial developers, water treatment plants, chemical plants, local and county governments, as well as the Army Corps of Engineers.  We have an outstanding track record with outstanding references.  No other local inland dredging company has been able to compete with us during the last quarter century.

We specialize in Hydraulic Dredging.  Determining the material to be removed dictates the type of dredge needed for the project.  If silt is determined, then an auger type dredge is used.  If clay is determined, a cutterhead dredge is used.    If the project calls for it, we are also capable of dredging ponds and lakes with conventional equipment.  Part of our expertise includes off-site removal of dredged sediments.  We are capable of building stilling basins, hauling off sludge, or using new bagging technology.  We have even helped developers build new lots with dredged materials from lakes.

Geographically, the majority of our work has been in the Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana areas.  We are fully capable of working beyond these areas. 

Currently, we have 3 hydraulic dredges to perform projects. We have access to more if needed quickly.   Our goal in the near future is to have 6 dredges running full time.  With the help of our Marketing Department and our Business Development Group, we expect this to be a realistic goal. 

Along with our expertise and experience comes our consulting arm.  We partner with different civil and environmental engineers, often writing specs for appropriate dredging projects.  Developers often consult with us before planning to build lakes.
